Professor Carmen Márquez Carrasco
Professor Carmen Márquez-Carrasco, Director of the Research Group and Professor of Public International Law and International Relations at the University of Seville, has published extensively on international human rights law, international criminal law, and peace and security, including a recent book on The Crime of Aggression in International Law (2011). She is also the Chairperson of the Executive Committee of EIUC’s European Master’s Programme in Human Rights and Democratisation.

Professor Pablo Antonio Fernández-Sánchez is Professor of Public International Law and Jean Monnet Chair on European Integration. He is also Professor of Prevention of Conflicts, Management of International Crisis and Peacekeeping Operations at the Diplomacy School, Ministry for Foreign Affairs, (Madrid). He is Member of the UNHCR Advisory Group of Eminent Persons since 2010; Member of the network of experts coordinated by the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) in the Multiple Framework Contract IP/C/LIBE/FWC/2009-054, 2009 and member of the Réseau
Méditerranéen de Formation et Recherche en Droits de l’Homme from April 2000. He has published more than one hundred and fifty
works among books, chapters of books and studies in specialised journals.
Professor Daniel García San José
Professor Daniel García San José is Associate Professor of Public International Law at the University of Seville and the main researcher of the Research Group ‘Bioderecho Internacional’ SEJ-504. He is coparticipant in COST Action 1003, International Law Between Constitutionalization and Fragmentation. His main research interests and publications focus on human rights in Europe, the rights of victims in international criminal law and bio-law.

Dr. Miguel Angel Martín-López holds a Ph.D. from the University of Cordoba (Spain) and is specialised in the field of economic, social and
cultural rights, particularly in the area of food security.
Dr. Luis Rodríguez-Piñero Royo
Dr. Luis Rodríguez-Piñero is Ramon y Cajal Researcher at the University of Sevilla, where he writes and teaches on issues of international human rights law, international legal history, and indigenous peoples' rights. He holds a Ph.D. from the European University Institute. He has an extensive experience in international and domestic cases regarding indigenous rights in Latin America and other parts of the world. He has worked for the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, as well as for Governments and numerous indigenous organisations and NGOs.
